What is a Sunday Service like?
A typical Sunday service includes Prayer, Singing, Special Music/Drama, Offering, & a Relevant Message. When you visit, we look forward to you meeting the people of New Joy and it is our desire for the service impacts your life. Please be sure to fill out the "We're so Glad You're Here" card attached to each bulletin; this greatly assists us in getting to know you and your family.
What should I wear when attending New Joy Church?
New Joy is a casual environment. Just be yourself.
What is the music like?
Our time of worship is lead by the New Joy Praise Team each Sunday morning. A typical Sunday morning worship experience would include a Worship Leader, a couple of singers and a great band. We have a contemporary style of worship. For more see our Worship Arts page.
Where do I take my children?
At New Joy church we provide a safe, friendly and fun atmosphere where children can build relationships with other kids and leaders as well. We have age specific classes from birth to 5th grade for both the 9:00 am and 10:30 am worship services. When you first visit New Joy Church, a greeter will direct you and your children to their classroom.
Do you have anything for middle school and high school students?
ABSOLUTELY! We have any energetic that provides leadership each Sunday morning during the 9:00 am service in our youth rooms.Youth Group is also offering Wednesday evenings from 6:45-8:15 pm for students in grade 6-12.
Do you offer Adult Small Groups?
Yes, there are several Adult Small Groups that meet during both the 9:00 am and 10 am worship services, as well as various evenings through the week.
How can I meet some folks or ask additional questions about the church?
Several times trough the year we offer a Pastor's Welcome Lunch which is specifically designed for those that are new to the church and would like some additional information.
